The temporary government has made a decision to maintain the current prices of both petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) until November 15th.
As of now, the prices will stay at Rs. 283.38 per liter for petrol and Rs. 303.18 per liter for high-speed diesel.

In the previous two-week assessment of petroleum prices, the interim government had lowered the price of petrol by Rs. 40 per liter and high-speed diesel by Rs. 15 per liter.
However, the government has reduced the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil. The price of kerosene has been decreased by Rs. 3.82 to Rs. 211.03 per liter, and the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs. 3.40 to Rs. 184.46 per liter.

However, with the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) recovering significantly from below 300 to over 278, fuel and diesel rates were reduced by Rs. 52 and Rs. 26 per liter, respectively, on the 1st and 15th of October.
