PM Kakar met with students and answered their queries during his visit to LUMS. The event was broadcast live on the state-owned national television channel.

However, IG Punjab Usman Anwar has denied that any such raid took place. The IG emphasized in a video statement that the police vehicle convoy depicted in the video was simply typical police activity far away from LUMS.
IG Usman Anwar noted that the police had not received such instructions and have no plans to undertake such a search.
